We want our love of wine to translate into classes and articles that are energetic, interesting, and that tie into greater experiences. Wonder sparks journeys.

That’s where the ‘LALA’ comes in - Love And Light And … wine! (Sometimes we say it’s Learning And Light And… because it’s equally as appropriate!)

Wine LALA officially partners with Vino Bliss, importers of boutique wine. You will find Vino Bliss’ collection in Pennsylvania state stores and as Special Liquor Orders (SLO).

It is a mission of ours to care for and give back to the earth that grows wine and the animals that live on it. As such, a portion of our proceeds go to Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and more locally to Small Things Philadelphia. We also have a unique relationship with Remark Glass, Philadelphia’s first Zero Waste Business.

About Noelle Allen

I left Corporate America after earning my MBA from Villanova University and spending ten years in finance and business banking. I enrolled in the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET), a London-based, best-in-class global certification program, to pursue a career in wine.

I began traveling to Europe and across the US to learn about (and taste in!) different regions. Delving deeper into the business, geographic, historic, and scientific aspects of wine, and how it all comes through in the glass, was fascinating. I was totally hooked. I started Wine LALA as a playful blog in 2014, but was soon being asked to make private recommendations, which turned into requests to write articles and reviews, and finally to teach classes.

I successfully completed the grueling and intense WSET Diploma program, and graduated in London in 2020. Today I co-instruct the Wharton School’s ‘Business of Wine’ GMC in Spain and Portugal, co-instruct WSET Level 3 and Diploma classes in Philadelphia, PA, and am a partner at Vino Bliss, Importers of Boutique Wine. I also am a freelance wine writer for Eater Philly.

I live in Philadelphia with my husband, my shih-tzu, and three cats (two of whom do not have eyes!) I am a yoga enthusiast. The only thing I love more than learning about wine is taking care of animals!
